Crafters Companion Cafe Assistant
Responsibilities:
Delivering first-class service & preparing high-quality hot and cold beverages (barista skills).
Welcoming customers, taking orders & processing payments.
Preparing food items, such as sandwiches, cakes & light lunches.
Ensuring excellent customer experience, handling and escalating issues or complaints professionally.
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety across the café, including washing up and table clearing.
Supporting the senior team on stock rotation & inventory checks.
Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed and that any incidents or hazards are reported and recorded.
What they are looking for:
Previous experience within hospitality or a coffee shop is preferred but not essential, as training is provided.
Level 2 Food Hygiene is advantageous but not essential. Must be willing to complete this if you do not already possess this qualification.
Flexibility to work shifts, especially weekdays.
Ability to work efficiently, in a fast-paced environment.
A friendly, customer-focused attitude with strong communication skills.
