Summer Solstice Walk in partnership with Regatta Outdoors

A tradition steeped in history, the Summer Solstice is observed uniquely across various cultures and nations. We are hosting our annual celebration to honour our neighbouring New Farm Nature Reserve and enchanting Sanctum Sculpture.

Join us on Saturday 21st June on the longest day of the year in welcoming the daybreak as we witness the sun ascend over the vale.

Thanks to Regatta Outdoors, attendees will receive:

  • Free Regatta water bottle

  • A trail sheet activity for children, once completed, they can bring it to the store to claim a prize—such as an animal keychain

  • 20% off in-store on the day

Prepare for an invigorating early morning; we anticipate the sun’s first rays at 4:47 am. We plan to set off at the northern car park at 4:20 am.

The communal sunrise walk is open to everyone—families, dogs (must be kept on leads at all times), and all who enjoy the beauty of nature in the company of others. There’s no charge for this event; simply let us know you’re coming commenting or sending us a direct message.

Please come prepared for uneven ground and cool morning temperatures. We will be serving hot tea and coffee at the Sanctum Sculpture.

We also recommend you bring a lightweight camp chair if you’d like to sit in comfort as the sun breaks.

4.20am from the North Car Park (near the Adventure Railway Station) what3words location: passenger.residual.artist

New Farm Nature Reserve created by Worcestershire County Council and accessed via The Valley. Discover 80 acres of woodland, wildflower meadow and history. Enjoy beautiful views, spot wildlife and visit a sculpture where you can rest and contemplate.
