The first bricks were today laid marking the next exciting stage in the construction of the new £1.7 million Cycling Performance Centre here at The Valley.

Construction firm Speller Metcalfe granted special to the site, as owners of The Valley, Eagle One, together with key local stakeholders, Wychavon District Council and Norton & Lenchwick Parish Council joined to mark the progress with a site tour and brick laying ceremony.

Building work is on schedule and set to be completed by the end of the year, with the Boardman Bikes Performance Centre set for an early 2018 opening, alongside new and exciting shops.
