The Valley is excited to announce we have joined the Worcester Stands Tall a mass-participation public art event that will take place across the county in the summer of 2018.

For 10 weeks, the city will spring to life as Worcester Stands Tall brings a trail of beautifully decorated giraffe sculptures to its streets – before they are auctioned to raise money for St Richard’s Hospice.

The interactive project will bring a host of benefits to the county, from boosting the tourist economy to promoting local businesses – all while raising funds for charity.

Commenting on the sponsorship, Paul James, Centre Manager at The Valley, said “Worcester Stands Tall is a win-win initiative. We get to contribute to such a deserving charity in St Richard’s Hospice and commercially we will benefit from being part an innovative, mass participation and inclusive event that is set to attract regional and national visitors to the area. We just can't wait for summer 2018 to start!"
