Rich pickings at The Valley's Apple Day

Thursday 27th October saw families out enjoying the fresh autumnal air, foraging for the last crop of the apple season amongst The Valley's orchards.

BIG thanks to local experts www.transitionworcester.org.uk and The Vale Landscape Heritage Trust who brought along their expertise, professional juicing machines and bags of enthusiasm to turn the apples into beautifully fresh organic apple juice for families to take away.

Maria Hughes, Centre Manager at The Valley, said 'What a great sight seeing so many families out enjoying the fresh air and creating such amazing tasting and healthy juices'. She continued 'We would like to extend our thanks to Transition Worcester and The Vale Landscape Heritage Trust for their efforts in making the day a success".
