'Quieter Hour' at The Valley Beach 2019

Autism Quiet Hour.JPG

We understand that public spaces can feel overwhelming for people living with autism.

On Wednesday 28th August, 9-10am, The Beach and our two pop-up indoor zones, The Tractor Shed and The Hayloft, will be quieter to give children, living with autism, time to enjoy playing with their families and friends.

Autism is a lifelong developmental disability that affect how people perceive the world and interact with others - meaning that people with autism often see, hear and feel the world differently to others. There are around 700,000 people living with autism in the UK, equating to around 1 in 100 of the population.
